September 16 - 25, 2016
Book & Lyrics by Greg Kotis
Music & Lyrics by Mark Hollmann
Auditions: July 5, 6, & 7 from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm (Offsite Auditions, Location TBD)
Rehearsals: Sunday - Wednesday, July 24th - September 7th
In the wake of a catastrophic drought, mega-corporation Urine Good Company has passed laws forbidding private restrooms and requiring payment for the usage of public ones, so as to conserve water. Those who do not pay for "The Privilege to Pee" are sent to a mysteriously ominous place known only as Urinetown. For twenty years the poor have been oppressed by ridiculous prices, until one day a young Public Amenity Attendant leads an uprising of the poor against the tyranny of their oppressors. Inspired by the works of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill, Urinetown is an irreverently humorous satire in which no one is safe from scrutiny. Praised for reinvigorating the very notion of what a musical could be, Urinetown is a show brimming with wickedly modern wit, and a sustained ability to produce gales of unbridled laughter!

Carrie: The Musical
Summer Teen/Young Adult Cast, Ages 16 - 25
July 21 - August 6, 2017
Music by Michael Gore
Lyrics by Dean Pitchford
Book by Lawrence D. Cohen
Based on the novel by Stephen King
Who could guess that a Stephen King novel could, would or should become a musical? Well, Carrie's back from the grave and she's singing, too! Smothered by her religiously demented mother, tortured at school and struggling with her emerging sexuality, Carrie just wants to be a normal kid... but she's far from normal. With her coming of age, she's discovering paranormal powers. She can move things! Windows break, people fall, knives fly, and the blood pours! It all builds to prom night, a vicious prank, and an act of vengeance that leaves no one but the dead to tell what happened. A classic morality tale: what goes around, comes around... redemption is not guaranteed!
