In the fall of 2007, a small boy wandered into his first audition for Beauty and the Beast at Near West Theatre. Shyer and smaller than most, he quietly mumbled the lyrics to "Be Our Guest" while nervously tapping his foot on the third floor of St. Patrick's Club Building. Now, almost 10 years later, that small boy has grown up and couldn't be more excited to be presenting his final Lake Ridge Academy Senior Showcase on the new Near West Theatre stage!
On Wednesday, May 11 friends and family of Christian and Near West Theatre joined together for a night of laughter, heartbreak, reflection and everything in-between as Christian took a look back on the pieces that have molded him into the performer he is today.
The performance was a rousing success, drawing a large crowd of loved ones and supporters. We are so proud of Christian and all of his hard work and accomplishments, and wish him all the best as he begins his BFA in Musical Theater at Pace University in New York this fall!
