Inspired by a fictional Victor Hugo novel surrounding the real-life vortex of events that led to the 1832 June Rebellion in Paris, Les Misérables School Edition follows an ensemble cast of iconic characters through the exceptional trials of life in 19th-century France. Les Misérables is an evergreen tale depicting themes and injustices reflective of our current struggles as a society. Return to this acclaimed show—the longest running Broadway musical ever—with music by Claude-Michel Schonberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, and soaring orchestrations by John Cameron.

This Winter Youth Production is performed by students as a staged concert and virtual performance, adhering to COVID-19 safety protocols. This is Les Misérables as you’ve never seen before, and for the first time ever on the NWT stage.

Les Misérables School Edition is streamed through ShowTix4U, Music Theatre International's preferred vendor. Performances are scheduled and streamed in real time. Like an in-person production, audience members should arrive on time, or will risk missing the beginning of the show. Learn more about ShowTix4U's streaming rules here.
