RISE! After-School Program presents Shrek The Musical Jr., a hilarious, heartwarming adventure based on the DreamWorks film and the book by William Steig. When Shrek’s peaceful swamp is overrun by banished fairytale characters, he sets off with a wisecracking Donkey on a quest that leads him to Princess Fiona and a showdown with the ambitious Lord Farquaad. Along the way, Shrek discovers that true belonging comes from embracing who you are. Packed with humor, heart, and imagination, Shrek Jr. offers bold roles, creative costumes, and a joyful message for the whole family.

RISE! is an after-school program for student-artists who want to strengthen their theatrical skills, discover hidden talents, and build long-lasting friendships through transformational arts experiences.
