Drag Queen Story Hour

November 6 from 11:00am - 12:00pm

Tickets

Drag Queen Story Hour

Step into “Veranda’s living room”—complete with shiny shimmery decor, a piano, pillows, stuffed animals, lots of purple, and of course, the Christmas Story leg lamp. From her throne, Veranda L’Ni, Cleveland’s tallest drag entertainer, reads a selection of stories to the group and leads sing-alongs that share messages of love and inclusivity. Plus, there is usually dancing and glitter and crafting!

We create a welcoming environment where aspiring readers can celebrate diversity and inclusion, and break the stigma around harmful gender stereotypes through exposure to self-proclaimed LGBTQ+ role models.

This program is ideal for ages 3 to 8 and their family, and lasts about one hour.
